The OMRS Medal Show is back and Members are invited to join us at the Warwick Arts Centre, Warwick University, Coventry, on the weekend of 18-19 September.
This new venue for 2026 offers:
- good motorway access;
- plenty of cheap parking;
- modern and largely refurbished accommodation at reasonable cost, and crucially, onsite;
- purpose-built exhibition space, and a lecture theatre for the talks;
- convenient breakout areas for the Show day;
- plenty of onsite catering options for lunches and casual dining;
- very pleasant informal spaces for drinks on both evenings;
- a nice private dining room for both the buffet and informal dinner;
- nearby locations (including Coventry, Warwick and Birmingham) with plenty of opportunities for attendees’ partners to visit over the weekend, should they be less enamoured with our hobby than we all are!
The main Medal Show activities; the exhibition, talks and medal fair will all take place on Saturday 19th September, which we hope simplifies travel arrangements, reduces costs and improves the overall experience of members at the Show. For those Members who want to make a weekend of the Medal Show, there will be a full social programme running from Friday evening through to Saturday evening.
For those who wish to join event on Friday 18th September, informal welcome drinks and a buffet dinner will take place on the Friday evening. There will also be a more formal dinner on the Saturday evening to round off the day’s activities.
